- 200g Gruyere cheese, cubed
- 200g Sharp Cheddar cheese, cubed
- 200g Jarlsberg or Emmentaler cheese, cubed
- 15-20g Butter
- 1 Tablespoon All-purpose Flour
- 250ml White Wine
INSTRUCTIONS
- First, pour the white wine into a saucepan and warm it up on the stove until it starts to boil.
- While that's happening, take another saucepan and melt some butter in it over low heat.
- Once the butter is melted, mix in some all-purpose flour and stir continuously for 5 minutes. This will thicken the mixture and create a roux.
- Next, pour in the wine and keep stirring until it's all combined and the sauce is smooth. Then, add in some cubes of Gruyere, Sharp Cheddar, and Jarlsberg cheese, and keep stirring until they're fully melted and blended with the sauce.
- Finally, transfer the mixture into a fondue pot to keep it warm and gooey. Dip in some bread, veggies, or anything else you like, and enjoy this deliciously cheesy treat!
